The Irvine Valley men's tennis team is looking for another long run in the 3C2A Regional Playoffs.
The Lasers won the Orange Empire Conference, finished the regular season with a record of 10-1 overall and earned the No. 1 seed in Southern California.
Irvine Valley is set to host No. 6 Bakersfield on Tuesday at home at 2 p.m.
IVC defeated Bakersfield in a nonconference match , 9-0, on Mar. 15. Irvine Valley dropped just nine games in doubles and then won five of six singles matches in straight sets.
If the Lasers win on Tuesday, they would host a second-round match on Tuesday, Apr. 16.
The regional final is on Saturday, Apr. 20.
