BAKERSFIELD, CA - Renegade Athletics is proud to announce the second week of Athletes of the Week, this week’s (9/13-9/19):
Alexandria Johnson (Freshman) Women's Volleyball
Johnson and her team went 2-0 last Friday, scoring two 3-0 sweeps over Reedley College and Fullerton College. In the first match, the freshman registered a rare triple double vs Reedley: 12 kills, 12 service aces, and 10 digs. In her final match, she registered a double-double vs Fullerton: 10 kills and 11 digs.
Alexandra’s stats for both matches:
22 kills, 13 aces, 21 digs, .468 kill%, .382 hitting%
Luke Combs (Freshman) Wrestling
Luke had three matches this week for the Renegades and went 3-0 at 174. The freshman had a decision win over Victor Valley 11-5, a Pin Fall over Moorpark College and a Pin Fall over Cerritos College.
