Bakersfield, CA — Bakersfield College Athletics is excited to announce the first-ever Renegade Tip-Off, a brand-new basketball media day and fan event set for Thursday, October 16th, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. inside the Renegade Athletic Center.

The evening will showcase both the men's and women's basketball programs as they gear up for the upcoming season. Fans can expect an action-packed night that includes a 3-point shooting contest, dunk contest, and an intersquad scrimmage.

One lucky fan (18 or older) will have a chance to win a four-some round of golf at our partner golf club, Rio Bravo Country Club. Raffle tickets will be given out at the entry.

Following the on-court festivities, the Renegades will host an autograph session in the lobby, where both teams will meet with fans, sign autographs, and distribute official 2025–26 season schedules.

Admission is free and open to the public. Fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and help tip off the 2025–26 basketball season in true Renegade style.
