Brett Clark

Brett begins his 6th year as head coach of the Renegade wrestling program. 

His coaching career within wrestling and football has included stops at the following:

  • BC assistant wrestling coach from 2003-2010
  • Football/wrestling coach at Mira Monte from 2010-2017. Head Football/wrestling coach from 2011-2013
  • Assistant Coach in AFL2 for the Bakersfield Blitz from 2004-05, Rio Grande Valley Dorados in 2006, and the Wilks-Barre/Scranton Pioneers in 2007
  • Head wrestling coach at Cesar Chavez High School from 2008-2010
  • Football GA for the 1999 season at Southern University (LA)

As a student athlete, he played football as a Renegade from 1995-1996 and then transferred to finish out his playing career at Southern University (LA).

He holds a B.A. in History from Southern University and an M.A. in Education from National University. 

As a BC coach, Brett enjoys watching the student athletes he works with progress and meet their goals academically and athletically. In his time as Head Coach, he is especially proud of the five BC wrestlers that have move onto four-year schools and graduated from those institutions.

Brett resides in Bakersfield with his wife Sherrina and their four kids - Jason, Sharley, Brylee, Jerrina.
