BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The El Camino College Warriors defeated Bakersfield College 4-1 on Tuesday afternoon to finish out their non-conference slate of the schedule.

The Warriors moved to 8-1 on the season before starting South Coast Conference play.

The Warriors scored two goals in each half against the Renegades.

Carson Nguyen opened up the scoring in the 4th minute.  Ty Kerns would add a second goal in the 10th minute to give the Warriors an early 2-0 lead to start the game.

The Warriors added two more in the second half.  Gustavo Munoz scored in the 60th minute on an assist from Mario Carlos.

Andy Cabrera capped off the scoring in the 78th minute on an assist by Joshua Aguilera.

Donovan Palomares started and made four saves in 75 minutes of work.

Bernardo Silvas played the final 15 minutes and allowed one goal and made one save.

The Warriors open up conference play with their rival Cerritos College. Cerrito is 8-0-2 heading into Tuesday's conference opener.
