Baseball Falls to COS, 3-2

Bakersfield, CA – The Bakersfield College Baseball Team hosted College of the Sequoias on Tuesday afternoon at Gerry Collis Field and came away with the loss, 3-2.

COS put the first run across in the top half of the first. BC didn't get on the board until Ashanti Ross hit an RBI sacrifice fly in the bottom of the sixth to bring Sage Voda in from third and tie the game at 1-1.

COS came back in the top of the eight to put two runs across in the same play and take the lead. BC would score one run in the bottom of the eighth to cut the lead, but ultimately couldn't produce any more offense and fell to the visiting Giants.
