BC cracked into the state top 20 according to a recent poll of college basketball coaches.

The Bakersfield College Men's Basketball Team (6-3) is the #19 team in the state according to the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association Poll.
BC (#19) will face Fullerton College (#13) Friday, December 2nd, on the first day of the Antelope Valley College Tournament in Lancaster, CA.
"We will face some tough teams at that tournament," Coach Rich Hughes said, "But this is an opportunity for us to rise in the rankings, this is the type of pre-season challenge we need to grow and develop as a team."
