The Bakersfield College Men's basketball team has made an art of living dangerously this season, and they showed that they'll keep up the high-wire act with a 73-70 win over Pierce on the road Wednesday.
Sean Le Flore continued to earn his reputation as Coach Rich Hughes' "Swiss Army Knife" by scoring 21 points on 8-12 shooting from the field.
Coach Hughes celebrated Le Flore's defensive play as a hidden asset that doesn't show up in the box score, but short of Jamar Hammonds 22 points, nobody left a bigger mark on the tally sheet.
BC wil play Santa Monica Saturday at 3p, with a ceremony honoring the late basketball coach Brian Carter after the game. Carter served as assistant coach for several years before becoming head Coach at South High School. He was killed in a car accident in the fall of 2016.
