Trey Armstrong makes it look easy, but Canyons decided to make it hard Wednesday night in the Gil Bishop Sports Center.

College of the Canyons ate into BC's lead late and came within a three-pointer of tying the game with less than thirty seconds to go, but Jamar Hammonds had other plans.

Hammonds forced a turnover and took the ball for a rousing coast-to-coast ride and dunked with authority to give BC a five point lead, and then Shane Christie intercepted a pass on the next possession and Hammonds repeated the act, albeit with a layup to make the final score 77-70.

BC will await seeding news to find out if they'll open the postseason at home or on the road after clinching their second consecutive Western State Conference South championship.
