Bakersfield, CA - Renegade Men's Basketball student athletes Anieus Medrano and Shahadah Camp have been named to the 2018-2019 Western State Conference All-Conference team. Marcus Jones was also recognized as the Co-Defensive MOP for the conference.
Medrano, a sophomore guard from Liberty HS, appeared in all 27 games for the Renegades this season. He averaged 16.6 pts/game for a total of 449 points on the season (279 of those coming from behind the arc. He also contributed 40 assists and 39 steals.
Camp, a sophomore from Grand Rapids, MI, was a scoring force and led the team this season averaging 20.5 pts/game throughout the 27 games he played in for a total of 553 points. He also contributed 124 rebounds, 81 assists and 39 steals.
Jones, a sophomore from Perris, CA, played in 26 games and was the Renegades top defensive player this season leading the team in rebounds (143), steals (65) and blocks (22).
