BC got nipped 3-2 on Friday by Cosumnes River College (3-1).

Edwin Bernal and Maynor Alcaraz scored goals for the Renegades, but a penalty kick and an unassisted goal were the difference makers in giving Consumnes River their third consecutive win.

On Saturday, the Rneegades ran into a deep and strong American River College team (2-2-1) that was coming off a 9-0 blowout win over Yuba.

"This team was full of athletes who looked like they could be on loan from international squads," Coach Vayron Martinez said, "They gave us a good look at where we want to be, and where the hard work can lead to."

American River topped BC 4-0.

The Renegades play at Santa Barbara on September 13th at Noon.
