Men's Track and Field Compete at WSC Prelims over the Weekend

Bakersfield, CA - The Renegade Track and Field teams headed out for the WSC Prelims and Championships this past weekend at College of the Canyons. A few athletes punched their ticket for the So Cal Regionals and will not be competing next week in those events.

Tearra Haney won the hammer throw and placed second in javelin, qualifying her for the Southern Cal Championships in both events. Francisco Felixplaced 7th in the 10k and qualified for the So Cal Championships. Zaila Clark placed 3rd in the long jump and qualified on to the So Cal Championship meet. Lastly, Tucker Monaco finished 5th in the javelin and 4th in the high jump to qualify to the So Cal Championships.

10,000M - #7 Francisco Felix, 33:38.69, #9 Juan Palma, 37.01.94

110M Hurdles - #7 Tucker Monaco, 16.95; #10 Taylor Sherman, 18.62

400M Hurdles - #2 Tucker Monaco, 58.21

 

High jump: #3 Roland Gandy, 1.85m, #4 Demetris Morgan, 1.75m

Pole Valut: #1 Tucker Monaco 4.00m

Long Jump: #2 Roland Gandy, 6.76m; #10 Fransisco Garcia, 5.91m

Javelin throw: #5 Tucker Monaco 40.56m
