Legg Lake, CA - The Renegade Cross Country team traveled to compete in the WSC Championship on Friday, Oct. 22nd at Legg Lake. The team faced a few hiccups on the way there but still had a couple of racers finish in the top 10, with a first-place finisher overall.
The men finished in third place as a team overall out of eight teams, with a total time of 1:43:38 on the four-mile course. The highest men's finisher was freshman Jacob Yagers finishing in first place with a time of 19:44. Yagers is the first competitor since 2004 to win a conference championship meet.
