Men's Cross Country Misses a First-Place finish by One Point at WSC Championships

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegade Cross Country team traveled to Moorpark for the 2022 Western State Conference Championship on Friday, October 21st. Eleven teams were out and ready to compete for a conference championship title including the Bakersfield College team who unfortunately missed it by one point, based on each individual finishes. 

The Men finished second as a team overall with a total time of 1:40:43 on the four-mile course. The highest men's finisher was freshman Francisco Felix finishing on second with a time of 29:19 while sophomore Jacob Yagers finished just behind his teammate with an overall time of 20:36

The Renegades will start preparing for the SO Cal Championships on Friday, November 4th which they will be hosting at the Kern Country Soccer Parks starting at 10:00am.
