BC Softball (15-21-1, 11-7) split a doublheader with LA Valley (21-15, 10-10) in the most dramatic ways possible.
In Game 1, Marina Felipe pitched eight innings and struck out 12, but was the tough-luck pitcher of record when a misplayed ball loaded the bases and she walked in the winning run to give Valley a 1-0 victory.
But in Game 2, the Lady 'Gades struck back.
They took a 6-6 tie into the bottom of the 9th inning, after pitcher Trinidad Lee reached on a double and later moved to third, Alyssa Gonzales hit a no-doubt walk-off homer to deep centerfield for the 9-6 win.
BC plays the rest of their games at home, and will host LA Mission on April 21st at 5p in the Dean and Adah Gay Sports Complex.
