The Bakersfield College Softball Team (12-10, 8-3) completed a sweep of Santa Barbara (10-10, 5-6) in Tuesday's doubleheader behind a strong pitching performance by Alexis Solis (4-3).

Solis was dominant, scattering seven hits over seven innings in the complete game win. She was charged with just one run, unearned, that came when she misplayed a ball in the top of the third.

Rebecca Pullen started for the Vaqueros, but was pulled after just one inning of work after giving up three hits and one run. Calista Wendell (L, 4-2) was charged with the loss after giving up two runs-one earned-and six hits in five innings of work.

None of the game's three pitchers recorded a strikeout, and Solis issued the game's lone walk in the low-scoring affair.

BC will play next on Thursday, March 23rd at Cuesta College, before playing three more road games on the 26th and 28th. They'll return to the Dean and Adah Gay Sports Complex Thursday, March 30th at 5pm to play Santa Monica (1-8, 1-8) in Western State Conference North action.
