SOFTBALL TAKES TWO GAMES AT CUESTA TOURNAMENT

The BC softball team picked up a pair wins on Saturday at the Cuesta Tournament.  In the first game the Renegades defeated Sacramento City College 2-1 in eight innings.  Kylee Fahy struck out 12 and got the win.  Alexis Solis was 2-4 at the plate, while Ashley Hernandez was 1-3 with an RBI.

In game two versus Cuesta, BC found itself in a 6-3 hole after three innings.  Kylee Fahy (6-1), who got the win, was brought in in the third inning and kept Cuesta of the scoreboard the rest of the way.  The Renegades had 15 hits in the game, led by McKenna Valencia who went 3-4 at the plate.  Aryka Chavez was 2-3 with 2 homeruns and 4 RBI, Saidee Banuelos was 2-4 with a homerun and 1 RBI, Monica Alvarez was 1-2 with 2 RBI and Alexis Solis was 1-3 with a homerun and an RBI.

The softall team will be on the road this Tuesday when they play a double-header against West Hills Colinga at 12 noon and 2:00 PM.  They will then travel to Reedley, on Friday,  to face San Mateo at 12 Noon and Reedley at 2:00 PM.
