Bakersfield, CA – The Bakersfield College softball team hosted Monterey Peninsula on Saturday afternoon in the first game of a doubleheader and came away with a 1-0 victory.

The game remained scoreless until the bottom of the sixth inning when Kylee Fahy had a line drive to right field that scored Kayla Sanchez from second which ultimately decided the victory for the Renegades.

Fahy started the game at pitcher for the Renegades and went all seven innings, grabbing eleven strikeouts and allowing four hits.
