Bakersfield, CA - Renegade Softball third baseman, Alantis Rede has been named the 3CFCA Co-Player of the Week for the performance in week 2 of the 2020 season.
In that week, Rede went 7-for-14 at the plate, drawing six walks. She drove in a whopping 17 RBIs including hitting a pair of grand slams. One of the grand slams came in the bottom of the 12th inning to tie the game against Riverside that the Renegades would go on to win. On the season, Rede is hitting .583 for the Gades with a .667 on-base percentage, and is slugging .944. Rede is a local product for the Renegades, prepping at Centennial High School.
