Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Baseball team hosted College of the Canyons on Thursday afternoon at the Dean & Adah Gay Sports Complex and suffered a 9-2 loss to the Cougars.
The Renegades struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Canyons, giving up nine runs. Canyons took the lead for good after scoring four runs in the top of the second and didn't look back.
Natilee Parrish led BC with two hits in four at bats and a run scored. Sydney Barnes took the loss for the Renegades in the circle. She went four innings, allowing six runs on nine hits.

They now drop to 9-11 on the season and 1-2 in conference. Next up, they will host Long Beach and Reedley this Saturday at 2pm and 4pm, respectively at the Dean & Adah Gay Sports Complex.
