Softball Falls to Antelope Valley

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College softball team had strong pitching but were unable to find enough runs in a loss to the visiting Antelope Valley Marauders on Thursday, 2-0. 

Despite both the Renegades and the Marauders strong pitching, AVC came out stronger at the plate in an extra inning game. Pitcher Ryleigh Harrison ended the game with a total of 24 outs. 

Teammates Stephanie Kay, Camille Chavez, Breanna Marquez and Kadyn Smith each recorded a hit and Bakersfield had no errors. 

BC took their first conference loss of the season and move to 11-7 overall, 4-1 in conference. The team will play two road games before next week before retuning home on Tuesday, March 21st to take on LA Valley.
