Wrestling Takes Down Visiting West Hills

BAKERSFIELD, CA – The Bakersfield College wrestling took on conference foes the West Hills Falcons for a home dual on Friday evening at Gil Bishop Sports Center and took the win, 30-19 to stay unbeaten in conference at 4-0.

Results from the dual from starting weight class of the night:

157: Hunter Avila (WH) won by a 5-2 decision over Gabriel Salcedo (BC)

165: Jeronimo Cardoza (WH) pinned Jonathan Hunter (BC) at 1:46

174:  Noah Collazo (WH) took an 8-1 decision over Scott Hokit (BC 

184: Jordan Annis (BC) pinned Jonathan Vale (WH) with 38 seconds left

197: Ricardo Gonzalez (BC) takes a 9-1 major decision over Daniel Badilla (WH)

Heavyweight: Daniel Schoene (BC) wins by pin over David Padilla (WH)

125: Jordan Cooper (BC) had a 11-0 major decision over Joe Morales (WH)

133: Angel Rosales (BC) took an 11-2 decision past  Salvador Velasco (WH)

141: Jude Miranda (WH) pinned Alexis Becerra (BC)

149: Adrian Gonzales (BC) pinned Hunter Avila (WH)

 

The Renegades will be back in action tomorrow, October 26 and head on the road to compete at the Meat Head Movers Tournament starting at 9am.
