The Bakersfield College Women's Soccer Team tied Clovis 2-2 on a night that saw an early red card, but the Renegades didn't quit and nearly pulled off the shorthanded win.

Amelia Lopez scored a goal, giving her at least one in the team's first three games.

Lopez scored one in the season opener against LA Valley, notched three in a hat-trick performance in the home opener against West Hills-Lemoore, before scoring her single goal against Clovis.

Sabrina Spink led the Renegades with 13 goals in 2015, and if Lopez stays on her current torrid pace, she'll surpass Spink's mark before midseason.

The Renegades were hamstrung by an early redcard that had them playing nearly 70 minutes short one player.

Clovis scored the equalizer off a corner kick that Hannah Lieder headed into the goal for the final score of the game.

Bakersfield travels to College of the Sequioas Wednesday, September 7th for their next match.
