Bakersfield, CA – The Renegade Women's Soccer team hosted Citrus College in Memorial Stadium on Tuesday evening and came away with a 1-0 win.
The first half was a defensive battle with both sides seeing a few opportunities, but unable to convert. The scoring opened in the 68th minute when Reagan King hit a shot from the center of the field, well outside of the goal box, that passed over the Citrus goalie to land the lone goal of the contest and ultimately give the Renegades the win.
With the victory, the Renegades move to 11-4-2 on the season and 3-1-2 in conference play.
Up next, they head into the final week of the regular season as they stay home to face College of the Canyons on Tuesday, Nov. 6th at 7pm.
