Men’s/Women’s Tennis Coach Nick Jacobs Announces Moving On To New Opportunity

Coach Nick Jacobs of BC Tennis has resigned as head coach for the men's/women's tennis teams. Assistant Coach Nick Loudermilk will also not be returning.
Coach Nick Jacobs of BC Tennis has resigned as head coach for the men's/women's tennis teams. Assistant Coach Nick Loudermilk will also not be returning.

Bakersfield, CA – Nick Jacobs, who has served as the Men's/Women's Head Tennis Coach for the last four seasons, has announced his resignation from the position to move on to a new opportunity with Kern County. Women's Assistant Coach Nick Loudermilk will also be moving on to a new opportunity. 

In the last three season Coach Jacobs and Coach Loudermilk led the women's team to a combined record of 40-23. He led the men's team to a combined record of 21-35 in the same time frame. This last season several players from both men's and women's teams qualified for the CCCAA Ojai State Tennis Tournament. In addition, three men's players were named to the 2017 Western State Conference All-Conference Team.  

Coach Jacobs has accepted a new position with the County of Kern and will begin in that role immediately.
