Bakersfield, CA – The Bakersfield College women's volleyball team hosted Antelope Valley College Friday night in the Gil Bishop Sports Center and came away with their 18th sweep of the season to improve to 22-1 on the season and extend their winning streak to 16 games.

In the first set BC jumped out to an early lead and didn't look back winning 25-10. In the second set the Renegades jumped out to a quick 11-3 lead and never looked back winning again 25-10. The Mauraders came out stronger in the third set, but BC came back late to win 28-26 and wrap up the match.

Leading the way for BC was Bianca Logsdon with 13 attempts and 11 kills. Penelope Zepeda added 11 digs and Sarah Armendariz had 33 set assists.

"We came into this game really prepared and ready," said Logsdon, "That last match we started rough, but we pulled through – we just have a really good connection on the court so it was awesome."

Next up, the Renegades will conclude the regular season this Friday, Nov. 9th at home against College of the Canyons at 6pm in the Gil Bishop Sports Center.
