Zepeda and Camarillo Headed to Western Oregon

Bakersfield, CA - Penelope Zepeda and Lanie Camarillo from Renegade Volleyball have announced their commitment to play volleyball at the next level at Western Oregon University. 

Zepeda, an outside hitter from Frontier High School, played in all 24 matches for the Renegades this season. Along with being named the WSC South Player of the Year, she was also named to the 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) 2nd Team All-American, 2019 California Community College Athletics Association 1st Team All-State and 2019 Southern California 1st-team All-State. On the season she totaled 307 kills, 250 digs and 39 service aces. 

Camarillo, also an outside hitter from Liberty HS, was named to the 2019 WSC South 1st Team All-Confernce. For the season she totaled 234 kills, 92 digs and 4 service aces.

Western Oregon is an NCAA Division II level school located in Monmouth, OR that competes in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC).
