CERRITOS, CA- On January 28th, the Women's Wrestling Team competed against seven other schools in the Cerritos Freestyle Women's Open tournament. BC took six wrestlers, had four wins, and Galilea Chavez took 4th place in the 191 lb weight class. (Pictured with Coach Marcos Austin and Coach Andrea Prise.) With this being the first tournament of the season, the team was excited to see how the first season for Women's Wrestling in the CCCAA would shape up and feels confident as we prepare for the next tournament in March.
