Bakersfield, CA – After topping Allan Hancock on the road in Santa Maria, CA yesterday 2-0, the Renegades Men's Soccer team returned home to host the Bulldogs and came away with a 3-1 win.
The first half was a scoreless defensive battle until Andrew Gonzalez broke open the net just before halftime to give BC a 1-0 lead at the break.
The Renegades wasted no time adding to the lead with a second goal by Gonzalez just after the half. He wasn't done there though as Gonzalez would complete the hat trick with his third goal of the game a short time later to increase the Renegade lead to 3-0. Hancock was able to get their own goal shortly after to cut the BC lead to 3-1.
The Renegades won't return to the pitch until Friday, March 26 when they travel to play at Antelope Valley College at 3pm. The following day, Saturday March 27 at 3pm they will then host the Marauders in their final game of the Spring I abbreviated sports season at the BC Soccer Field.
