Luis Martinez and his BC Baseball teammates got to Glendale in a big way, forcing their starter to call it a day after one and a third inning of work, and caused enough jitters to induce two erros, a wild pitch, and a passed ball.

The Bakersfield College Baseball team (10-7, 3-2) beat Glendale College (13-6, 3-2) 6-5 on the road Thursday.

The Renegades got to Glendale starter James Giambalvo for six runs in just one and a third innings of work, but Glendale gave BC gifts in the form of two errors, a wild pitch, and a passed ball-all of which led to Giambalvo's early exit from the game.

BC faced seven different pitchers in the game, with relief pitcher Marco Quintanar being the only one to notch at least two innings of work.

Monty Stevens picked up the win for BC, giving up three runs in five innings of work, while Jason Potter picked up the long save by going four innings and giving up two runs while striking out five.

BC will host Glendale Friday, March 18th at 6pm at Gerry Collis Field, where they have a chance to win the rubber match of this week's three game series.
