BAKERSFIELD, CA – Bakersfield College is proud to unveil the 2025 Renegade football schedule, featuring five exciting home games and a slate of highly competitive road matchups. Head Coach Tyler Thompson and his staff will lead the Renegades into another season of California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A) action, aiming to build on a new legacy for years to come. "We have a new conference this year with some quality teams," says Coach Thompson. "We are looking forward to begin!"
Bakersfield will enter the National Central League after being in the National Northern League for several years in the Southern California Football Association.
BC will enhance the fan experience by continuing special theme nights for each home contest. From honoring community heroes to celebrating education and service, these evenings are designed to connect football with the heart of Kern County.
The season kicks off with a scrimmage at home against Coalinga College and Reedley College on Thursday, August 21, at 6:00 p.m., providing fans with an early glimpse of this year's squad.

An evening dedicated to honoring our nation's veterans and active-duty military members.
Away Games
The Renegades also face tough road tests, including matchups against Santa Ana (August 30), Ventura (September 13), Pasadena City (September 27), Fullerton (October 18), and College of the Canyons (November 8).
All home games will have a new game time, starting at 4:00 p.m., with gates opening at 3:00 p.m. Ticket and tailgating information will be announced in the coming weeks.
