Renegades Take 6th at WSC Championship and Will Move on 3 to SoCals

BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College Men's golf team wrapped up WSC play with the Championship yesterday at Sundale Country Club with a 6th place finish in a competitive 36-hole event.

Despite the team result, the Renegades had a strong showing individually, with three players earning spots in next week's Southern California Regional Championship. Jacob Roldan, Ethan Aronson, and Noah Palm all qualified and will represent BC on Monday at Olivas Links Golf Course.

The tournament featured several standout performances for the Gades. Sophomore John Alderete led the way early, firing an impressive 1st round 73, the team's low round of the day. In the afternoon round, freshman Ethan Dubuskey stepped up with a solid 76 and finished as the team's top overall performer, posting a two-round total of 152.

With three players advancing, the focus now shifts to the postseason as the Renegades look to carry momentum into the Southern California Regional.
