BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College men's tennis team is off to a great start, earning a 9–0 victory over the Porterville Pirates on Friday morning.
The Renegades took an early advantage by winning both doubles matches and earning a forfeit from the Pirates, securing the doubles point. Bakersfield then carried that momentum into singles action, claiming four singles victories to seal the match.
The entire lineup was dominant across the board, dropping only 3 games total.
The win improves Bakersfield to 2-0 on the season as the Renegades take on Hope International on Saturday, January 31st.
