BAKERSFIELD, CA – The Bakersfield College men's tennis team continues to make history this season. After capturing the program's first-ever Western State Conference Championship two weeks ago, the Renegades secured another home postseason opportunity with a dominant 5-0 victory over Orange Coast College on Tuesday, April 7.

Bakersfield will now host conference rival Glendale College in the 3C2A Southern California Regional Semifinals on Tuesday, April 14, at the BC Tennis Courts. First serve is set for 2:00 p.m., with doubles play kicking off the match followed by singles competition.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams this season, with the Renegades holding a 2-0 advantage. Both previous matchups were tightly contested, with Bakersfield earning narrow 5-4 victories each time.

With strong depth and consistent performances throughout the lineup, the Renegades enter the match as a formidable contender as they look to extend their postseason run.

Hosting opportunities for the third round, the 3C2A SoCal Regional Finals, will depend on results elsewhere. If Ventura College advances, Bakersfield could host once again. However, if Ventura is defeated by defending state champion Irvine Valley, the Renegades would travel to Irvine for the final SoCal matchup on Saturday, April 18.
