Renegades Fall in SoCal Semifinals to Glendale
BAKERSFIELD, CA — The Bakersfield College men's tennis team saw its postseason run come to an end Tuesday afternoon, falling 5-0 to conference opponent Glendale in the 3C2A Southern California Regional Semifinals at home.

Entering the match with a 2-0 record against Glendale this season, the Renegades were unable to replicate their earlier success as Glendale made key adjustments and controlled the match from the start. BC fell behind early after dropping all three doubles matches, putting them in a quick 3-0 deficit.

Needing just two more wins to clinch the team victory, Glendale carried that momentum into singles play, securing the remaining points to complete the sweep.

Despite the outcome, the Renegades wrap up one of the most successful seasons in program history, highlighted by their first-ever Western State Conference Championship and a postseason run that included hosting multiple playoff rounds.
While the team portion of the season has concluded, the season is not over for several Renegades. Bakersfield will now turn its attention to the upcoming individual and doubles competitions at the Ojai Tournament, where multiple athletes will have the opportunity to compete for a state title.
