Renegades Fall to Mt. SAC at Home

BAKERSFIELD, CA. - The Bakersfield College softball team dropped a 10-2 decision to Mt. San Antonio on Saturday at home.

Mt. SAC struck early and broke the game open with a six-run third inning, adding insurance runs late to secure the win. The Mounties tallied 12 hits on the day, led by a three-hit, three-RBI performance from Emily Sandoval, including a home run.

Bakersfield was limited offensively but managed to push across two runs in the fourth inning. Elizabeth Alderete and Andrea Barajas each recorded an RBI to account for the Renegades' scoring, while Isabella Harrison and Alexia Marquez collected the team's only hits.

In the circle, Alexia Martinez and Cassidy Torres split time, with Torres providing solid relief down the stretch.

The Renegades are coming close to the end of its season, with a home game on Tuesday, April 14th against Antelope Valley.
