BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College Women's Golf team competed yesterday at San Dimas Canyon Golf Course, finishing with a team score of 375 to take 5th place overall. Sophomore captain Ivana Escobar led the way with a team-low round of 89, continuing to provide consistency at the top of the lineup.

Unfortunately, the Renegades were forced to battle through adversity as two key players, Mia Townson and Izzy Brandon, were sidelined with injuries. Their absence was felt, but the team showed grit and determination in competing hard despite the setback.

The squad will look to regroup and get healthy as they prepare for their next tournament at Encino Golf Course.
