BAKERSFIELD, CA - Bakersfield College turned in a strong team performance at the South East Conference Tournament, highlighted by two individual champions, several top-three finishes, and impressive depth across multiple weight classes.

At 141 pounds, Luis Acosta-Tackett dominated his bracket, rolling to a tech fall and a major decision to claim the conference title and score 18.5 points. Heavyweight Jonathan Garcia also secured a championship, earning a semifinal pin before taking the final by forfeit, with teammate Seth Seibert finishing right behind him in 2nd.

BC saw strong runner-up finishes from Brendon Ko (149) and Abran Gonzales (165), both of whom recorded big pins on their way to the finals. Elijah Guzman (174) and Camden Williams (157) each battled back for 3rd place, while Moises Moreno (184) added a 4th-place finish and Isaac Villalobos (197) claimed 5th.

In one of the day's notable twists, Williams and teammate Markis Gonzales faced off in the 157-pound consolation bracket, with Williams advancing and ultimately finishing on the podium.
