VENTURA, CA - The Bakersfield College women's swim team traveled to its first meet of the season and came out with a 6th out of 10 team finish.
The Renegades opened the day with a sixth-place finish in the 200 medley relay, featuring Audrey Vickers, Lilli Dorsett, Zoe Neri, and Madelyne Pulido. The team also placed eighth in the 200 free relay behind the efforts of Madelyne Pulido, Vickers, Megan Dudley, and Neri.
Individually, Lilli Dorsett led the way with a fourth-place finish in the 500 freestyle, while also placing 10th in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke. Audrey Vickers added top-10 performances in the 500 free (8th) and 200 free (11th). Madelyne Pulido recorded an 11th-place finish in the 100 IM and placed 15th in the 100 free.
Additional top-16 finishes were turned in by Jillian Byington (14th, 200 IM), Exayana Dominguez (16th, 100 fly), Megan Dudley (12th, 200 free), Tiffany Owens (13th, 100 fly), Samantha Santiago (15th, 200 IM), Zoe Neri (15th, 500 free), and Kiley Nance (16th, 500 free).
Up next, swim will head to El Camino College for the El Camino Invite on Friday, February 13th.
