Women's Swimming Take Second Overall at WSC #1

EL CAMINO, CA - The Bakersfield College women's swim team opened Western State Conference competition with an impressive second-place overall finish at WSC #1 at LA Valley College.

Freshman Lilli Dorsett highlighted the day with a conference title in the 200 Breaststroke, while also placing second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 Breaststroke. Audrey Vickers delivered a strong distance performance, finishing second in both the 1650 Free and 200 Back.

Madelyne Pulido added a runner-up finish in the 200 Free along with fourth-place swims in the 50 and 100 Free. Megan Dudley placed third in the 200 Free and fifth in the 100 Free, while Kai Nance recorded top-five finishes in both backstroke events. Tiffany Owens (4th, 100 Fly), Isabel Rodriguez (4th, 200 Breaststroke), and Samantha Santiago (5th, 200 IM) also contributed key points.

The 200 Free Relay team of Jillian Byington, Tiffany Owens, Megan Dudley, and Audrey Vickers placed fourth, rounding out a well-balanced team effort.
