VALLEY GLEN, CA - The Bakersfield College women's swim team delivered a strong performance at the Western State Conference (WSC) Meet #2 hosted at LA Valley.

Freshman Lilli Dorsett led the Renegades with a pair of sixth-place finishes. She placed 6th in the 500-yard freestyle (6:05.16) and followed with another 6th-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:53.58) to pace Bakersfield's distance and breaststroke events.

In the backstroke events, Audrey Vickers recorded two top-10 performances, finishing 8th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:39.03) and 8th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:14.93).

The Renegades also saw a strong showing in the butterfly and IM events. Zoe Neri placed 4th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:53.77), while Madelyne Pulido added a 10th-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly (1:15.41).

Distance swimmer Samantha Santiago rounded out Bakersfield's top-10 finishes with an 8th-place result in the 400-yard IM (6:25.66).

The Renegades will take a much needed rest this weekend and get back to competing next Friday at Allen Hancock.
