Women's Tennis Falls to the Cougars in First Conference Match

 SANTA CLARITA, CA - The Bakersfield College women's tennis team started conference play on the road against College of the Canyons with a 5-4 loss.

The Renegades took an early advantage by winning No. 1 doubles match but missing at an opportunity to play the No. 3 doubles due to not having enough players. Bakersfield then were able to pull out three single wins but missed another opportunity in the 6th spot.

The loss takes Bakersfield to 1-1 on the season.

  2. Breana Lemos/Michelle Figg (COC) defeats Mariana Burger/Licet Ramos (BC) — 8-3
  3. BC forfeits the point.
