BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Renegades were led by a standout performance from freshman Sofia Moody, who captured the 3,000m steeplechase title in a personal-record 13:11.44. Moody also placed fifth in the 800 meters with another PR (2:30.45), giving Bakersfield a strong distance double. Marilu Flores paced the sprint group with a fifth-place finish in the 100 meters (13.21 PR) and followed it up with a seventh-place showing in the 200 meters (27.41 PR).
In the field events, Karly Mundy delivered a well-rounded day, placing third in the shot put (9.36m), fifth in the discus with a personal best (29.09m), and fifth in the hammer throw (37.19m). Cameron Eubanks added a fourth-place finish in the long jump with a PR leap of 4.69m, while Journey Lee contributed on the track with personal-best performances in both the 100 meters (13.95) and 200 meters (29.20), rounding out the Renegades' top performers of the meet.
