BAKERSFIELD, CA -The Bakersfield College women's wrestling team competed in a tri-dual on Wednesday, March 5 at Victor Valley College, facing off against Victor Valley and Moorpark.

In the opening dual against Victor Valley, the Renegades picked up key victories from Celia Esquivel (103), who won by forfeit, and Mikayla Weller (117), who secured a win by fall. D'Anna Payne (235) also delivered a strong performance with a win by fall. Bakersfield battled hard throughout the lineup, with Aryanah Singh (145) and Cristal Chavez (160) competing tough in their matches.

The Renegades responded in their second dual against Moorpark with several strong performances. Esquivel (103) again earned a win by forfeit, while Weller (117) continued her dominant day with another victory by fall. Aryanah Singh (145) picked up a win by forfeit, and Cristal Chavez (160) added a victory by fall to help lead Bakersfield. D'Anna Payne (235) rounded out the lineup with a hard-fought match.
