CULVER CITY, CA - The Bakersfield women's soccer team earned a late equalizer to secure a 1–1 draw against West LA on Tuesday afternoon.

After a scoreless opening half, West LA struck first in the 49th minute. The Renegades continued to fight and were rewarded in the 86th minute, as Alexandra Gallardo converted the tying goal off a well-placed assist from Kylee Faulkner.

Despite not recording an official shot in the match, Bakersfield capitalized on its late opportunity and held strong defensively. Addyson Evens anchored the back line with four saves.

Both teams engaged in physical play throughout the match, resulting in multiple yellow cards on each side, but Bakersfield remained composed to secure the road point.

With the tie, the Renegades finished third in the conference and will wait until Sunday to find out their postseason placement.
