BAKERSFIELD, CA - The Bakersfield College volleyball team delivered a commanding sweep over Glendale College (25–11, 25–20, 25–20) Friday evening inside the Renegade Athletic Complex. The Renegades controlled all three sets with a strong offensive showing and efficient team execution.
Alexandra Watts led the attack with 13 kills on an impressive .632 hitting percentage, while Maya Barron added 12 kills, hitting .500 and recording 18 assists for a strong all-around performance. Lainey Sterling was also key offensively, contributing 10 kills and seven digs.
Setter Taylor Drake paced the Renegades' offense with 19 assists, while Chloe Lopez anchored the defense with 16 digs and added three service aces. Amanda Zepeda chipped in with five kills and two aces as Bakersfield maintained consistent pressure from the service line.
With the win, Bakersfield improves its overall play in conference action to 2-3.
