Bakersfield, CA - The Renegade football team hosted College of the Canyons in their 2019 season finale at Memorial Stadium and came away with their seventh loss of the season, 24-7. 

Both teams played a competitive first quarter that saw a BC field goal blocked by Canyons that the Cougars turned into a field goal of their own five plays later. Canyons then peeled away in the second half scoring on consecutive offensive possessions to go into the half up 17-0. 

Bakersfield's lone scoring drive of the game came on their first drive of the second half when they put together an 8 play, 54 yard drive that was capped off by an Isaiah Martin run from 2 yards out to come within 10 points of Canyons. The Cougars responded returning a Bakersfield punt 45 yards for a touchdown and that would seal the scoring for the game. 

The Renegades finish the season 3-7 overall and 1-4 in conference.
