The Bakersfield College Men's team (11-3, 0-0) opens Western State Conference South play on the road against Citrus ( tonight at 7pm. 

"It's always tough to play there," Head Coach Rich Hughes said, "We've got to come out ready to play. That's been one of our Achilles' heels, we don't always come out and get good starts. So we gotta come out with a good start on the road, and open conference with a good victory." 

Citrus is coming off three losses, but they move the ball well and have four starters averaging double digits in scoring. 

The Renegades can put up points as well. They've scored at least 90 points in five of their 11 wins this season, and Deandre Dickson is averaging 18.9 points per game, good for 15th in the state. 

BC plays their first home conference game this Saturday at 5pm in the Gil Bishop Sports Center.
