Bakersfield College Basketball (6-2) beat Porterville College (2-5) 95-68 to qualify for Sunday's 4pm championship game of BC's Thanksgiving Tournament. 

Jaylunn English led BC with 23 points on eight of 16 shooting from the field, including four of eight from beyond the arc. 

Jamar Hammonds scored 18 points and had a hot shooting hand as well; he was six of 10 from the field, and made all six attempts from the free-throw line. 

BC led 45-25 at the half, but only outscored Porterville by seven in the second half (50-43). 

The Renegades will play the winner of Saturday's late game between Mt. San Jacinto College and Cuesta College at 4pm in the Gil Bishop Sports Center for the Thanksgiving Tournament Championship.
