Coleman, Davis, Pemberton and Medina Take Home Post-Season Conference Honors

Bakersfield, CA - Renegade Men's Basketball student athletes Tyrell Coleman, Rahmel Davis, Eloy Medina, and Deandre Pemberton have been named to the 2021-2022 Western State Conference (WSC) South All-Conference team. 

Coleman, a sophomore from Bakersfield High School, was named to the 2021-22 WSC South 1st-Team. He appeared in all 26 games this season scoring 458 total points (17.6/game), grabbing 216 total rebounds (8.3/game) and had 124 total assists.

Davis, a freshman from McAuthur High School in Hollywood, FL, was also named to the 2021-22 WSC 1st-Team. The freshman appeared in 25 games this season, starting 16 of them and scoring a total of 301 points (12/game). He he had 187 rebounds (7.5/game) and had 34 assists. 

 

Honorable Mention:

Pemberton, a sophomore from McAuthur High School, was named to 2021-22 WSC Honorable Mention and scored 271 points this season (10.4/game) playing and starting in all 26 games. He had a total of 158 rebounds and 34 assists. 

Medina rounds out the conference award for the 2021-22 season. The freshman from West Mesa High School from Albuquereue, New Mexico, had a total of 249 points in the season. 

 

Men's basketball ended their season at home against LA Valley on February 24, 2022 with a 59-41 victory. The team had an overal record of 16-11 and conference record 7-7.
